M365 Email problems

Is anyone else experiencing issues with their email today? Random users are reporting that inbox emails from the last month and last 2 days (except for Tuesday and Wednesday) have disappeared (they're in Deleted).

I'm wondering if this is related to recently reported 365 outages in USA, or something more sinister...
