mdrabble Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Anyone using Action1 used it to push out the SIMS.net client to intune devices? I've tried using Intune, but when I set to update, the client it turn out to manually install the client on all laptops as Intune took it's sweet time - even when using the company portal to sync etc. So I was wondering, Action1 seems fairly quick as deployment, and if anyone has deployed the SIMS.net client using Action1. Staff are very much stuck in their ways and will not budge from the client! Cheers
David44 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Do you use Sophos? There is currently an issue with the SIMS installation .exe files (SIMSApplicationSetup.exe, SIMSManualSetup.exe, SIMSAmparkSetup.exe) hanging when run silently on a machine running Sophos. This might explain why you are seeing slow deployments. It doesn't matter if they are called by Intune, MCM, Action1 or even Solus. There is a thread on it here with some workarounds...
mdrabble Posted January 17 Author Posted January 17 Nope, just windows defender. Intune does eventually get around to installing it if they leave it long enough but then has an imoact on being able to take registers etc.
GeneMoody-Action1 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 What issues are you having with it specifically, apologies I am not familiar with the client?
