Hi all,

All our classrooms have ViewSonic ViewBoards, and we make use of their broadcast feature to publish out prayers in the morning, afternoon and end of the day,  these are a mixture of PNG to small video files.

We've started to transition to a video of a member staff reading out the prayer but all of a sudden we have found the TVs are being really hit and miss and will start playing the video and then just cut off and go back to the the previous input with it being random, one day one TV will play the video fine, the next day it won't.

I don't think it's the size of the video, this new file is around 23mb and other files have been 30 odd mb and we've not had issues, so am now looking at the way the MP4 is encoded and seem to have a bit more success with a file that's encoded with x265 rather than x264.

We have over 80 TVs the video is going out to and 98% of them are connected via cable to the network.

I do have a line of communication open with someone at ViewSonic but wanted to know if anyone else here does anything else similar?

Thanks.
