GameOver666 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Hi we currently have a totem pole that has a touch screen on it. At the moment the touch screen will only go to one website (one we were given when we 1st started with it over a year ago). my question is. If I took the touch screen and mini computer out of the pole could i set it to go to a new website? its connected to the internet already
Rob_D Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Probably, but depending on how it's been set up you might need to rebuild the minipc. Can the people that you got the pole from help at all?
GameOver666 Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Hi its a small mini computer called an sicomputer productiva yocto. it keeps blocking every website other than the one it was setup with.
flipthebit Posted January 12 Posted January 12 (edited) Could it be as simple as the hosts file sending everything but the specific site to nowhere? Worst case, you could replace it with a Raspberry Pi running a suitable similar service. Edited January 12 by flipthebit
