Bromcom Student App

Afternoon Everyone,

 

When using the Bromcom student app, could I ask if you could check to see what your pupils see? We have been told the app should look like the website (vle.bromcomcloud.com) and offer a Microsoft 365 logon. Yet when we load the app on either iPhone or Android, that option does not appear.

 

Pupil emails have been imported to Bromcom and the SSO option switched on - but still no Microsoft option on the app.

so the App doesn't support SSO, you have to use the Magic Link we have ours SSO'd to google but with the App they use the magic link... put the code their email address in then in the email client on their mobile device(the same one that has the Student Portal App on) click the link in our case their school iPads for lower school or their mobile phones if in sithform then that links the Student App to their account... yes its slightly different to the web browser sign in but the informatino they can see is the same just displayed differently.

Thanks mate - seems a bit stupid really the way they have done it. Never mind - they can all go through a Magic link. This is how I trialled it with one student - but it all seems a bit dull if the website version lets them use Microsoft 365 as the service and has a button there for it.

They say SSO for the app will be released Q1 2026.
