Dispaly Android Tablet on Windows PC

I have had a request to connect a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite to an interactive TV, so that the tablet can be used as a scribe/tool. The user's goal is just to use it as an Android tablet, display some learning resources and walk around the room with it, using it to control what is shown. The TVs that we have are some very old Genee interactive boards with no networking capability (only HDMI/VGA and USB), so wireless casting is not an option. Apparently it used to be possible via Samsung's Smart View app, with options enabled in developer mode, but it looks like Samsung have disabled that option. When I'm researching this, I'm mostly getting the wrong type of solution, such as use tablet as a second display for Windows.

 

I'm happy if it can't be done, as it's one less complication for me to deal with.

Do you have a desktop or laptop connected to the Interactive Display?

 

We used to screen share to Windows desktops from iPads using AirServer Universal software, which I think is still available. I don't think anyone really uses it any more, but I keep it available just in case.

 

It may be you can use either Samsung Screenshare from the tablet, or get a third party app such as Chrome browser to cast from there.
