SevenTheyAre Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Hi all, I’ve been working on a lightweight self-hosted monitoring platform for Hyper-V that I originally built for our own IT environment. It tracks host and VM performance, alerts on issues, and provides a web dashboard, without needing any cloud or per-host licensing. I thought some of you might find it useful, especially if you’re looking for something simpler than PRTG or SolarWinds. Here’s the demo: https://demo.hypervmonitor.com/ Feedback very welcome — I’m continuing to develop it, and teacher/school environments are a big focus for optimization. — Paul 1
KK20 Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 nice. WAC would be great if the it had free alerts. I ended up scripting powershell email alerts for my cluster as that was pretty much all I cared about for our three nodes. So its a win on its own just for the alerts.

I am building in Alerts both on the web system and email, would you like a demo of the software as it currently stands?
