The IT Services Team provides support between 7.30 am and 6.00pm with either a half hour or 1-hour lunch break, the post holder will be required to be flexible within those hours. The closing date for this position will be Friday 21st November 2025 at 8AM The Interview date for this position will be Friday 28th November 2025 This position is due to start in January 2026 Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date, and the school reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply early. We are looking for an organised and empathetic IT Technician to support the school. Primary responsibilities include: • Provide first line technical support for staff, pupils and parents via telephone, helpdesk and in person • Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software faults • Install and upgrade IT hardware and software • Perform proactive maintenance on IT equipment, ensuring equipment is clean, fit for purpose and working well • Assist in maintaining cloud technologies and services such as Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra, Azure, Teams, Defender and other third-party tools To be considered for this position, we are looking for the following: • Experience providing first line IT support • Helpdesk ticket management experience • Experience with Windows 10/11 installation, management and troubleshooting • Hands on experience using Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook etc.) • Previous experience with Cloud services such as Microsoft 365 For full details of the essential and desirable criteria, please see the person specification in the candidate brochure What We Offer: • Additional benefits: free lunch, free onsite parking, use of the school gym and heated swimming pool (at designated times) • Pension scheme membership (including life cover) Applicants should be aware that all email communication with HR will be sent via E-teach.
