WithoutMotive Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Anyone know what this error is in the event log: Event Type: Error Event Source: SQLVDI Event Category: None Event ID: 1 Date: 27/08/2008 Time: 23:01:01 User: N/A Computer: ADMINSERVER Description: SQLVDI: Loc=CVDS::Cleanup. Desc=Release(ClientAliveMutex). ErrorCode=(288)Attempt to release mutex not owned by caller. . Process=3756. Thread=1080. Client. Instance=SIMS2005. VD=. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. Whatever it is, it's happening just before our backups kick in and, therefore, preventing them from completing. Thanks.
