garethEds Posted September 17, 2025 Posted September 17, 2025 Morning all, We are seeing a strange issue where the timetable in ClassCharts looses a minute per lesson. In Bromcom we have our periods setup - so for example: Lesson 1 : 9:00am - 9:50am Lesson 2: 9:50am - 10:40am Lessons are then in 50 minute chunks. It's set and everything is ok in Bromcom. The sync is performed by Wonde. When we look at ClassCharts we see: Lesson 1: 9:00am - 9:49am Lesson 2: 9:50am - 10:39am Loosing a minute every time. ClassCharts say it is Bromcom, Bromcom say it could be Wonde and the LEA don't know. So here I am. Anyone seen this or can offer help? Cheers Gareth
bobsmith Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 I thought that bromcom actually stores the lesson data as shown in your classcharts example? i.e. Lesson 1: 9:00am - 9:49am Lesson 2: 9:50am - 10:39am
TechMonkey Posted September 18, 2025 Posted September 18, 2025 (edited) Yeah, I was going to say without any knowledge of Bromcom, that is totally a Bromcom thing. Wonde just takes the data and passes it on. ClassCharts just displays the data. It looks like a way the Bromcom programmers have used to get round clashing of lessons and have programmed into their UI and systems to add the minute back in, but the underlying data is what you are seeing. The underlying data makes more sense, you can't have a lesson ending at 10:00 and starting at 10:00 as that is an overlap, but isn't as pretty. Edited September 18, 2025 by TechMonkey 1
