WufB and Sophos XGS

Hi all,

 

Hope you are well.

 

Our WSUS server has finally given up and I cannot be bothered to mess with it any more, as it's been nothing but trouble since the off. I am looking at setting up our devices as Hybrid and using WufB, but we have a Sophos XGS, which uses STAS and only allows internet access through user authentication.

 

I am sure I can find some URLs to add as exceptions but wanted to reach our and check if somebody else has been in the same situation as me and how you managed to get around it? Thanks.

 

Also I was told WufB doesn't do server updates, is this right? Doesn't seem right to me.

Ignore realised you need user auth for Hybrid join and my admin server account won't be sync'd with Azure AD Connect. I have read about Azure Update Manager using Azure Arc, has anyone used this, or what are you using for Server updates?
