DfE - Protect and Prepare - SCORM

Hi,

 

We got this through after a webinar from a member of Staff.

 

I think its to do with DfE Training to do with Martyn's law, however I am unsure what this means, ie do they give us SCORM Module and then we add it to an LMS. However we have many systems so unsure what practically this means?

• An introduction to SCORM. 

• Instructions for adding the e-learning module to your Learning Management system (LMS) 

• Information on tracking user progress upon completion of their learning. 

• The terms and conditions of the agreement. 

 

We kindly ask that you review the document and confirm your acceptance of the terms and conditions. Upon receipt of your confirmation, we will provide access to the SCORM files.

I assume so, that's how it usually works, what SCORM compatible system do you use?

Thats the issue, none of ours seem to use SCORM 

 

I can extract the video file assuming thats the major part of it

Problem is no one has a LMS, they have M365 or Google Workspace. Probably best to just extract the videos unless you want to install Moodle

There are LMS tools that can hook into M365 that play SCORM content. IIRC Learn365 is one, but there are others ... the problem might be cost though.
