No your not going mad, they are at the top because they are pinned. I am working on differentiating pinned better and reducing their site.

Theyre stuck threads? Stuck thread always stay at the top even if theyre 10 years old?  Is that what you mean?

Oooops, you're too quick.... I just realised my mistake but couldn't work out how to delete my post!

 

Yes, I eventually saw they must be pinned. I'm guessing they were much easier to differentiate on the old site?

yes the modern look and feel of sites is to make everything look the same including pinned threads 😕

It may be shown in that drop down.

The delete option dissapears after 5 or 10 minutes after posting.

No, I don't get the option in the drop down menu (this is immediately after posting).

Can you post a screenshot of the option showing for you...?

I will need to code an override I think. In the interim you can report using that menu and there is an option to Edit/Delete.

Yes, thanks that's fine I do get that option (though I really need an immediate delete as I tend to write a lot of rubbish and post before I think about it)!

 

I didn't see it as I didn't go into that menu as it wasn't intuitive... and I didn't want to go any further into reporting myself!
