Search issue when searching from the front page

I've just noticed an odd issue when searching from the front page in that if you're trying to search the forums from there, it picks the front page as the current article to search under rather than the whole site.

 

Could it possibly be changed (if at all?) as it may confuse some, as it did for me for 10 minutes?!

 

Or maybe it's just something I need to remember for next time.
