We have just moved to Access from FMS and need to look into integrating an automatic esignature system for invoices where they would be sent to the budget holder electronically who would sign and then sent back to finance automatically.

Anyone implemented this already or looking into it? Something like Acrobat Sign or any other off the shelf solutions recommended? TIA

Not built-in to the system? We tendered out for a new finance system in the last couple of years and this was one of our criteria, to have digital workflow from PO to sign off. The only manual ones I have to do not are the slightly complicated ones that span multiple areas.

On digital signatures, we use Foxit, but I would presume it was down to Access what integrates with their system.

This is what I would have thought, isn't this a core function of a modern financial system?

Good luck to you Access is absolutely terrible for budgeting and just general day to day usage. User of 3 years - granted it’s probably better than FMS but that’s not much to go by.

You should be able to get this switched on by Access if you can find someone helpful in their support team as we have the entire process conducted electronically. It took them about 2 years to get the auto emailing of waiting actions to work though.
