IWB Flashing intermittently

Good morning,

 

Looking for some advice re issues we are having in a classroom.

 

The teacher is reporting that the board flashes on and off repeatedly for a couple of seconds, randomly sometimes every 15 seconds

 

Setup is Promethen Titanuim board - Fiber Optic HDMI - HP G5 dock - HP Probook

 

We have checked the obvious things, drivers, etc swapped cables and laptop to no avail.

 

Does anyone else have any idea, as we are at a bit of a loss....

I remember being called to a classroom where a projector was "glitching."

 

I sat at the back of the room for a whole lesson, waiting for it to happen again. It didn't while I was there.

 

The answer was that a pupil had taken a remote from another classroom and was using it to disrupt the current lesson. They didn't use it while I ws there because they flet I would spot them from my vantage point at the back of the room.
