Nationality and Country of Origin Just Got More Fun

I don't like bringing politics into here, but following Theresa May's speech and the Conservative Party Conference a number of people are expressing concerns over the collection of Country of Origin and Nationality in schools. It's turning into the next big migrant tracking conspiracy due to the unfortunate timing of the government's speech and the collection of ethnic data for the census.

 

Expect bizarre combinations appearing in your replies and a possible increase over the next few days of hostility towards answering your questions. Remember, parents can refuse to answer the data and it's better to get them to refuse than wait on a reply that never arrives (or arrives defaced or utterly incorrect).

 

I'll be interested to know anyone does start seeing backlash!

I just wish I could use the Bulk (well..BulK) updater to update them - I only have about 7 students that weren't born in the UK, and of those, only 3 have a Nationality that is not United Kingdom.

 

Be much easier to just tick all the ones that responded as "United Kingdom" and those that haven't as "Not Yet Obtained", as opposed to the 6-click job it is now.

You can use the bulk updater! It's the field Pupil Nationality.

I finished yesterday, but thought it was the Nation field in the passport section? Country of Birth wasn't there either was it? Ah well, a relaxing three hours of repetitve clicking was had!
