elsiegee40 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 This has a few problems. The grammar may not be the worst of them Home
sonofsanta Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 A few problems? A hit counter. Text in images (including poorly scaled up and pixellated text). Crap 1990s Flash style gradients on buttons (with two-for-the-price of one hover images). Word documents linked directly from the front page. Transparent drop down menus you can't actually read. Most damning of all: Allow cumnock.e-ayr.sch.uk to run "Java"? I've not even found any poor grammar, I can't see the text through the blood welling up in my eyes.
Gatt Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I think grammatical errors are the least of their worries I suspect there was a competition held in S1 to design the school website (S1 = Scots equiv to Year 8 ) though can't check cos they've disabled right click
LosOjos Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Oh wow... lots of inline styles, class names as descriptive as 'Button1', 'Button2' etc., iframes, heaps of unnecessary JS, no caching, no compression, not responsive... It's pretty much a "who's who" of bad design practices!
elsiegee40 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 "Our supported learning centre win prestigious award" A centre is singular, not plural... but I agree with all the above
sonofsanta Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 Their SMT consists of Depute Head Teachers as well
