Student late sign in writing back to SIMS

Hey,

 

We currently have EReception book by Mediabase direct, and aren't happy with what it writes back into SIMS.

 

So on a pupil leaving It will flood fill non-attendance code for the AM and AM sessions, and put a note in the AM register, what the attendace officer wants is a note on the Specific session/period and for it to floo fill from that point, then if the student signs back in for that also to be recorded in a similar way.

 

I have looked at the documentation for a few products and they all appear to operate in the same way, so I am thinking that this is a SIMS limitation, however she swears blind there is a product that does exactly what she wants. Is there a product that will write back to the specific period or am I correct that this is a sims limitation?

None that I've seen allow individual Period writebacks (at least in terms of 3rd party items like that for SignIn etc) - Most can in terms of a full register/attendance as it works slightly different but that's two different routes it does it

Our third party apps can write to AM/PM but not lessons. Must be some kind of licencing/tech issue no one seems to be willing to pay for. Edited March 5, 2025 by PotNoodleTech
