Three Price Increases - Am I reading This Right?

I'm in the process of renewing my daughters phone contract. Three have a Black Friday offer on for a 40GB pay monthly SIM (which she was on before) for £10 per month - https://www.three.co.uk/shop/sim-only/pay-monthly?tenure=24&tier=lite&data=40gb

Perfect I think, then start to read the fine print:

 

Each April, your Monthly Charge will increase by a fixed amount depending on your plan’s data allowance. Plans 4GB or less & Smartwatch Pairing Plans will increase by £1.00 per month. Plans from 5GB to 99GB will increase by £1.25 per month. Plans 100GB or over will increase by £1.50 per month. All Home Broadband plans will increase by £2.00 per month. for full details. Your monthly charge includes a £5 discount for paying by a recurring method, such as Direct Debit. I then went to their price increase page - https://www.three.co.uk/support/bills-and-contracts/your-monthly-plan-and-usage/price-increase - which states this:

 

If you joined or upgraded your phone, SIM Only, Mobile Broadband or Home Broadband plan on or after 8th September 2024 your Monthly Charge will increase each April by fixed amount depending on your plan’s data allowance.

 

Plans 4GB or less & Smartwatch Pairing Plans will increase by £1.00 per month. Plans between 5GB and 99GB will increase by £1.25 per month. Plans 100GB or over and Mobile Broadband plans will increase by £1.50 per month. All Home Broadband plans will increase by £2.00 per month.

 

As I'm recovering from an operation and on some pretty good meds which make thinking fuzzy at times, I just want to poll the EduGeek collective to see if I'm reading this correctly, as it seems to suggest that it will increase the price each month, but on the same page says this:

 

 

So, is it just referring to a single annual monthly rise (which is fine and we all expect), or is this a 'deal' where you end up paying a lot more month on month later on?

Any help greatly received.

I read this as an increase of £1.25 per month once, totalling an extra £15 accumulated cost per year (£120 -> £135), not that every month an additional £1.25 per month will be added (so it's 10, then 11.25, then 12.50, etc)

Same. Each April it increases once at a rate of £ per month.

 

e.g. 2025 - 10->11

2026 - 11->12 etc

My daughter is away at Uni, so getting a new sim swapped out may be a PITA as I'm still managing her account!
