Steve101 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 When you go to save something in any office programme, we always had OneDrive and Sites - Sharepoint as 2 options. Sites - Sharepoint has now disappeared and I can't get it back. Anybody else noticing this?
Boredguy Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Sites/SharePoint now show as the "Quick Access" for us under the OneDrive, which is more in line with how they see the information via the Web Interface

It's not a solution, just proves something has changed and it's now broken.
Boredguy Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Not very good if you want to start at the top and find the correct location. It's not a solution, just proves something has changed and it's now broken. Not sure what you mean by wanting to start at the top. For me and our users it shows the icon of the Team/SharePoint site same as it does on our SharePoint Recent webpage. When you select the site (such as Cover Staff Resources) it shows the document library the same as normal. Not sure when MS updated it in the Office365 apps as there wasn't anything on the release notes, but it's better than the previous list for our users.
Steve101 Posted November 12, 2024 Author Posted November 12, 2024 This is just the same as recent items, if you are told to save a document to a non-quick access area then you are at a loss. It is less functional than before, so not an improvement. Good to see it's not just our site though. Hopefully Microsoft will revert the changes.
lmrogers Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 I've had staff complain about this as well. They oddly can't see one of the Sharepoint libraries in the Quick Access even when clicking on Show More so they are having to save locally then upload or sync the library down to file explorer.
