Ipad Camera Settings

We use meraki in school to manage Ipads but for some reason Camera doesnt have settings option in app settings,

 

is that common issue? we tried to switch off that weird format to jpeg but instead now using OneDrive camera app.

iOS restrictions only allow you to either turn the camera off or on, you can set One Drive to automatically upload any photo or video to OneDrive?

We also use Meraki and I haven't found any setting that changes the camera's photo format to 'normal', stops it taking 'live' photos, or to turn on the preserving of those settings via the MDM...

I started changing them all manually on each iPad, but eventually to get around the format issue (at least), I managed to get the HEIC codec onto any Windows machine that needs it.

I still create a base image for our iPads, and roll it out via Apple Configurator. I *think* I made this change in the base image before rolling out the last batch of devices.

 

In theory this process is now obsolete, but, there are just a couple of settings that it catches that can't be done any other way.
