Chromebook dropping WiFi connection after the latest update

I recently updated to the latest version of ChromeOS:

 

 

Since the update, my Chromebook has dropped its connection to my WiFi network several times (no issue with streaming a TV signal or making/receiving calls during the connection outage)

 

There is, typically, four or five hours between outages.

 

It might be worth deferring updates on network enrolled Chromebooks, or possibly only update one or two to test if the same issue exists for the education version.
