Trend 963 to IQVISION costs?

Hi,

 

Has anyone had their BMS software upgraded from Trend 963 to IQVISION recently and can share what costs were involved?

 

We're a smallish school with 2,000 points and have been quoted around £10k. Seems step to me for basically a software upgrade. The company claims the costs are mostly labour due to a CAD engineer needing two weeks to redo the schematics as our existing 963 ones can't be used. The IQVISION documentation says a migration tool is provided with the software that should make migrating quick and easy.

 

Just after some thoughts from others who have gone through this and if costs seem fair?

We've had our system migrated a year or two ago and I don't know the exact cost but it was definitely quite time consuming for the engineer to redo the whole setup.

I think out cost was a bit reduced as we have an on going maintenance contract too.

Apologies for resurrecting a very very old thread.......

 

Short story, our site manager retired and I have picked up some of the "IT tasks" he did - one of which is supporting the heating system.

 

Software is still on Windows 7!!! and running 369 - I never knew this thing existed as not on the network - but I've told SLT it needs replacing.

 

If you can remember, could you pass on the names of the companies who you dealth with when moving from 369 to IQVision.
