Just wondering how this is generally being implemented for Welsh Schools Secondary schools in UK

At the school I am in contract with; The Network Administrator has created a no access for students that the parents haven't given consent for no 3rd party access into a AD OU, this has caused headaches when the pupils looking for support the accounts for use with google classroom/ office365 don't exists so students cant do any homework via Google Classroom.

As IT support we are told to let the students know that their parents haven't given 3rd party access that's it. I asked for clarity from the senior support team I didn't like and also the response.

Id like to hear any and all thoughts on this, if not having access at all to the google classroom is correct? if this has caused a nightmare ? or not been implemented at all. As a parent id want to know the side effect of not agreeing to 3rd party consent
