Simcfc73 Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 Hi, I'm in the process of putting everything in the cloud over summer. I'm using the SharePoint migration tool for home folders which seems to work well but I'm struggling with the Gmail migration in exchange online. I start the migration process and it goes through all the Gmail auto creations but whenever I get to the account to use it says no permissions. I noticed the account must have a mailbox to migrate so I've had to use a secondary account and make them global admins in suite. Has anyone used this before? I've created all the pupils outlook mailboxes and they work so they are ready to accept the connections. (Just need to work out how to restrict app access.. bit different from the old each)
Simcfc73 Posted July 23, 2024 Author Posted July 23, 2024 I figured it out. When i was selecting the subdomain I needed to type the correct domain name in the box rather than using the drop down. I did make a subdomain in Google but wasn't sure it was needed. Just created a CSV with the email addresses and it all copied across overnight. 1
