Intune App Locker with Visual Studio

We have student 1-1 devices which we manage via Intune. We block apps via App Locker. Our computing students use Visual Studio for their coding projects and need to be able to debug but this is being blocked.

Has anyone found a way to get Visual Studio working with App Locker?

can you not create a path rule we used to do this with SRS and it did work we don't use VS anymore so whilst i have made this rule in Applocker we haven't tested it.

Is there anything on the Event Viewer\AppLocker events to say what is being blocked?
