No MS Guardians being sent

Hi all, we are trying out Guardians. We got Salamander to upload the details of one parent and two students. They have been set work. However, the parent has not received anything.

 

Any ideas???

When did you enable it?

 

It's not instantly sent it's only a weekly summary which is why lots of schools don't bother with it as it's too out of date to be of help really.

 

Just wondering if it might not have triggered yet - Also I assume this was enabled in the Teams assignment to send out to guardians? (if it's not done globally in admin yet)

Hi, it wasn't enabled globally, I've done that now! The main issue is that SLT don't have a good overview of assignments being sent since MS pulled Insights Premium. Thanks for the reply.

If it's for SLT more than Guardians, have you talked to Salamander about their Team Activity Reports?

 

They used to be able to enable a report that gives you an overview of all teams/assignments etc:

 

The default view of the Teams report lists all Teams within your tenancy and provides status information for each Team – such as whether it was created via SDS, how many assignments are in the Team and who the class teachers are.

 

You can click on a Team name to see more detailed information about assignments which have been set – including what they are called, when they were set and when they fall due. The report is built as an HTML page and as such access can easily be exported and distributed provided to Heads of Year and those who need to be able to see information relating to the utilization of Teams at your sites.

 

Might help if it's more just for the school side of things
