365 tenancy vs Microsoft Live personal email

Hi all, have any of you with a 365 tenancy been able to block Microsoft Live personal emails?

 

We discovered last week that Live email is accessible in school, and cannot be blocked by our filtering because it uses IPs which have been whitelisted for our 365 tenancy. We think this Microsoft guide might be the solution, but are waiting to find out if its possible with our filtering system.

 

Has anyone successfully used this guide, or another method, to block access to personal Live email accounts?
