Nova T6 Help

Hi Everyone

 

Our timetabler has gone off work on long-term sick leave so I am trying to unpick the pieces of what needs to be done.

 

I have had a request to do the following, but I am not quite sure how to do this in Nova:

 

Swap teacher AAA from double Year 10 to:

 

Week 1 Thursday

Period 5 – 7K

Period 6 8Ry

 

Week 2 Thursday

Period 5 PPA

Period 6 7N

 

How do I then send this into SIMS.

No problem:

 

-Open AAA's timetable in T6 (Timetable | New | Teacher)

-Right-click the Y10 class you want to move to another teacher, select Edit Staff

-The easiest way might be to remove AAA from Y10 (just click the remove button) then add the other teacher later if it's a direct swap

-Open the other teacher's timetable, Edit Staff, select AAA on the left, tick the lessons on the right, click Replace

-Now to put the other teacher on the Y10 class, click the Block button, then click the magnifying glass to find the block the Y10 class is in

-You should have a column of lessons with no teacher - right-click any one of these and Edit Staff

-To put the PPA in, assuming the other teacher doesn't already have PPA 2Thu.5, click the NCC button, click the PPA code under Non-class Codes, click AAA under Arrange individual NCC sessions for staff, click the period you want on the TT to the right

-Check both timetables to ensure they have a room, if not click the class code and press X on the keyboard to assign rooms

-To send to SIMS, go Data | Export Curriculum and Timetable to SQL
