What set of people are these quizzes aimed at - children in an educational institution (school / college, etc) of some sort, or are these people from a wider group? Most schools or similar will already have some kind of learning management system (LMS) - Google Workspace / Classroom, Microsoft 365, maybe Moodle or similar. Is this something you're trying to do in your particular institution / workplace, or are you aiming to make something open to the wider public?

for the moodle is good but is there a way to make quiz with only one code stored in database for each submission to be deleted when used??

 

or if there is a good script can do so please let me know

We were going to do something similar but then didn't so I have thought about this but not actually tested the theory. We use Google, so this is based on a Google Form

 

Create a Sheet with the details of the people you want to complete the quiz, include a 'Unique ID' column and enter a unique ID for each person.

Create a Google Form with a 'Unique ID' question. Type 'BlahBlahBlah' (or similar) in to the Unique ID field and then use the options in Google Forms to 'Get pre-filled link'.

You will end up with a link that looks like this...

Using the Sheet and GMail to mailmerge, send this URL to each of the people you want to complete the Quiz and replace 'BlahBlahBlah' with their unique code.

 

Once the form has been submitted, check that each response has a valid unique code (i.e. that the code appears in the Sheet) and decide what you want to do if a code has been used twice (e.g. take only the first response or only the last response).

 

We had a requirement to make this anonymous while still making sure each person only responded once so once the Sheet had been used for the mailmerge, we planned to remove the identifying information and just leave the unique code column.

 

You could also use regex on the Google Form to check that the unique code is in the correct format (maybe 6 numbers followed by 2 letters for example).

 

As I say, our requirements changed so we never implemented this but I think it should work in theory.

 

Option B is to just use some product that does this kind of thing.

First, create a database to store quiz questions, answers, and unique codes. Generate a unique code for each user when they start the quiz and save it in the database. When the user submits their answers, check the code to ensure it is valid and then delete it from the database. Save the user's answers along with the code in a report. Later, you can export these reports for review. This ensures each code is used only once and keeps track of all quiz submissions.
