We have a SMART SPNL-6075 interactive display with a faulty camera

The teacher reported that they were having intermittent issues with the touch on the display. I contacted SMART and they asked we to run some diagnostics which showed that one of the cameras had failed.

The display is out of warranty, so SMART put us in contact with a repair company if we wanted to get get repaired out of warranty. This company want £390 to collect the display, have a look at it and then return the display. They would then be able to provide a quote for repair. I did ask if they could give me a ball park figure for a camera replacement but they wouldn't say. I feel like we could end up throwing money at an old interactive display and could instead use that money buying a new one.

Has anyone had to get a camera replaced on one of these and have an idea how much it will cost?

Is there anyway we can buy the parts and repair it our self?
