Intune Lock or send messages to devices remotley

Hi All,

 

I've inherited the job of managing the laptops we loan out to students. All of these are managed via Intune. I'm wondering if anyone knows if their is a way to remotely lock these laptops or send a message asking the student to return it back to school.

 

An issue we have is that the laptops aren't being returned so being able to make them unusable would be useful.

 

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Would be interested in the same information, I'm sure I saw an option to suspend a device and was suggested to wipe but that doesn't really help in this situation

Did consider making a policy to change the background and make a sound at startup\ applocker anything useful to force them back
