The Stamford Schools are now looking for an IT Technician to join our IT department. This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to join the Stamford Schools.

 

The IT Services Team at the Stamford Endowed Schools is a passionate team comprising of 12 staff. The Schools have an aspiration to be an IT Leader and recently invested £2m in our Switch and Wireless infrastructure and as well as a 1-2-1 device provision for all pupils from Year 4 to Year 13 to help prepare our students with the digital skills for the future.

 

As the Schools focus on our strategic objective “class of 2030”, we are expanding our team with this exciting role operating across our three sites, with a primary base at Stamford School.

 

We are looking for a technician with a passion for technology and how it can support the schools academically and operationally. This role apart of the technical support team providing 1st and 2nd line support led by the Head of IT and Data. Applicants must have a good understanding of IT technologies and at least 2 years previous experience. This role will also provide support and training to our staff and pupils throughout the schools, specifically around their devices and the software they use.
