Dos_Box Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 This popped up on one of my news feeds (got the link from that) this morning - https://stadia.google.com/controller/index_en_US.html Essentially, Google is to kill the Stadia online service on the 31st Dec, but of you'd still like to use your controller with other consoles\devices, then you can switch on bluetooth mode via the link. 3

Dos_Box Posted December 13, 2023 Author Posted December 13, 2023 (edited) WOW thanks for this. totally forgot... i have 4 at home! one being a founder's edition...... not sure if i should reflash that one though? TBH, it would be useless without it. I collect retro tech (home computers and consoles) and wouldn't consider buying something that wasn't 100% working or in a condition which could make it workable. Most other collectors are the same too AFAIK. Edited December 13, 2023 by Dos_Box
Jaan Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 So flash it? i also collect retro consoles and games. That being said, i'm running out of space and i'm gonna be selling all my consoles and games if you're interested. I'm from Leigh WN7 so not so far away from you! I need to reinstate the arcade machine since we had the kitchen done!

I mainly collect 80's home computers, so if you have an Oric, I could very well be persuaded if the price is right
Jaan Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Ah right, nah i'm more Sega, Nintendo era. from the late 80s early 90s 1
Dos_Box Posted December 13, 2023 Author Posted December 13, 2023 Ah right, nah i'm more Sega, Nintendo era. from the late 80s early 90s No problem I collect 80's home computers, and am working backwards regarding consoles. I picked up a PS 1, 2 and 3 (all working) for £45 at an auction earlier this year. None boxed sadly, but all playable! I just wish I'd had the nous to pick up all the 80's computers and 90's consoles before retro-gaming became a big thing and they were being sold for pennies. Still, it's nice to see that these machines go to good homes and are looked after for future players\collectors.
