Does anyone have a papercut 'recipe' that will prompt users to confirm they need the job in colour and allow them to choose yes/no and then convert the job to B&W accordingly?

I've been looking through the pre-built ones and they don't seem to hit the nail on the head for what I need... there is one that prompts them to say do you need this in colour and yes to confirm it, but if you say cancel it closes the job alltogether rather than sending it as B&W.

might be worth checking if its possible to get the embeded software to auto select thew greyscale conversion? https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/HowToSaveOnColorToner/

then they can just uncheck it on the device if colours required?

Hmmm does it? Ours gives the option to Continue with Coliur or converr to BW.

Also we have a status box that comes up if printing BW or Colour saying "job will cost £x in either BW or Colour" depending which was chosen.

Haven't seen if it works recently but assuming nothing has changed there are lots of examples of these on Edugeek if you search them up

Example: https://www.edugeek.net/forums/enterprise-software/154588-papercut-script-prompt-colour-convert-grey.html
