How to reset a forgotten SYSMAN password?

Ok, so we no longer use SIMS and haven't done for sometime. We now need to get into it to recover some old data however everyone that had a login to the particular SIMS instance has left..!

 

Does anyone know how to reset the SYSMAN password so we can gain access? We know the SA password and can view the SQL database using SQL studio and logging in using the SA password.

I reckon you can get away with just opening SQL studio, go to New query, and run the below which should set the sysman password to password

exec sims.db_p_reset_sysman_password

 

Best to take a DB backup before you do this though
