Your role/responsibilities

We are looking for someone to join our IT team in supporting both staff and students with a range of systems across the school.

You will provide front-line support for day-to-day enquiries and help to maintain a significant amount of hardware within our setting.

You will also support the school community with a variety of software, including cloud-based platforms.

 

We are seeking to appoint a person who:

 

• has IT knowledge and experience and the confidence to learn new systems
  
• has a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and can work under pressure
  
• is able to work as part of a team and communicate with a variety of school stakeholders, to include students, staff, parents and other organisations.

We are situated in the historic town of Bury St Edmunds (‘the jewel in the crown of Suffolk’), surrounded by beautiful countryside – just over an hour by train to London, and close links to the A14.
