[sims] Sims report of form groups

How do i construct a report of a list of form groups for the whole school?

 

I spotted one way which is focus student, data field:reg group, which produces the reg group of every student and then do something with excel or python to generate a unique list. I would do this for myself but I'm writing instructions for someone else and it would be easier for them if sims could just spit out a unique list. 🙏😂

Is this for an actual list of regs? Or the students within?

 

If it’s just the rega they’re all shown under the pastoral structure, or did you specifically need a report with it in?

yeah a list/csv. didn't seem like i could export from the pastoral structure

That depends on what you want this for, as in does it matter if it has other information as long as it includes the list? (as in is it being scripted into something?) - or just the easiest thing for an end-user to run?

 

There's pre-made reports "Reports -> Student Analysis Reports -> Student Totals for Year and Registration Groups" that would just give a nice table with reggroup and number of students built in without any cutting/changing required if that's any use?

 

But if you want something fully custom you'd need to design a report as below:

Data Area -> Group

Data Fields -> Group Name.. (As required)

Filter -> Group Type is one of "Registration Group"
