Cloud based - BMS heating system -with Andriod app

Hi all,

 

I have no idea about BMS systems, my angle on this is purely from a computing and usability perspective.

 

The school is needs a new BMS system, specifically for heating. I said to the finance/management team here that a web (browser) based system would be the best approach that would also support android/iOS apps maybe?

 

Ideally a 3g/4g controller with the options for wifi, i assume ethernet is standard.

 

Anybody able to name drop any manufactures that can do this...... everything i'm looking at online requires a dedicated onsite computer/software instance. due to the footprint of the site a mobile phone with a app would be best when they are changing settings.

 

Then again, i'm not sure if the search terms i'm using are correct.

 

What are your schools using? do you guys get involved with that? we've never been asked before but it has a plug on it so its IT now

Most new builds will tend to use something like Trend, it's expensive!

 

Loxone or Zennio might be suitable solutions, that are a bit more user friendly and cost effective.

 

I'd suggest speaking with Chris from Bee Automation. Currently doing some of his courses on control panel design and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
