ozydave Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 This may sound like a stupid question, maybe it is or maybe its just me..... I've noticed that staff have been putting notes about students in "behaviour management" section 3 "Behaviour" These are just general notes like "I updated the mothers email address" nothing actually to do with the students behaviour like having a fight or being abusive. I just can't think this is the best way to do it. Surely these type of notes should be in "student details | Quick notes" or "communication log" Please tell me its just me and that all schools do it this way?
JanePG Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 We've been putting things in the quick note but sometimes run out of space in there, so from now on I'm going to be asking things to be put in the comms log. Things like changes of address/phone numbers must come from the parent so that makes sense. It doesn't seem ideal but time will tell. 1
bobsmith Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 yeah that's just not right. if it's your front office doing it then it's either lock them out of the behaviour section or have a quick refresher on how to add notes correctly - and when they are not needed! 1
