Twitter app on iOS 12.5

We have some older iPads which cannot be updated past iOS 12. Twitter requires iOS15 but the app store automatically installs an older version for iOS 12.

 

We have found that recently we can't create new tweets from iPads with the older version on.

 

Anyone else had the same issue?

Seem to recall the ios12 version lost posting ability in the middle of last year.

Darn! Will just have to show them how to use the twitter webapp instead.
