Doddle Learn Down?

We have had an issue with the Doddle learn database being down for the last two weeks further digging shows that they have deactivated their Twitter account?

 

Does anyone know what may have happened or if the company still exists?

I thought they announced they were closing up shop a few years back. Maybe it was delayed or something.

I think Doddle got bought out by another company before this happened

 

The new company promised to update all resources so they no longer use Flash but that hasn't happened. We have also had ongoing issues syncing our data with Doddle since the new company took over

 

We contacted them about the database error and they said

 

"The issue was due to a database / AWS update/sync that didn’t go according to plan. Our IT colleagues, together with AWS specialists are working frantically to fix it. As of tonight, they have notified us that it is likely to take them till Friday / weekend before things get back to normal. So, the realistic date they are working with for things to get back to normal is Monday." The Monday would have been 26th June

Apparently they have had a total system crash and the last I heard was 'They're working on it but it won't be fast' Cyber attack? I like there stuff but reliability and responding to emails or enquiries is dire.

I'm so sorry that you've been so let down by Doddle Learn and Boardworks. It really isn't the company it used to be since it was taken over. Myself and some others are trying to do something about it and could do with the help of customers. Please email me at [email protected]

We only signed up for this a couple of months ago.

 

I think I'll disable access to our data in Wonde until we know more about what the heck is going on.

Hopefully it will be updated soon, but, a compulsory winding up order was issued to the owners of Doddle (BW Resources, previously known as Boardworks Ltd) on 20th September. If you are one of the teachers who has emailed me and not yet received a response I apologise, I am waiting for the Gazette to update the information before I send anymore emails.

Gutted as I loved the product and used it regularly ☹️
