iSams Photo export

Right... I've done this in the past many times... But now something is different .. Maybe me Maybe not - I have a call with iSams support about it nothing as of yet (counting in weeks)

 

I have my API key, the one I have documented, The One I created, The one I have used before...... Downloading a zip of photos should be easy right..

 

Off I go to https://$iSAMSURL/api/batch/1.0/photos.ashx?apiKey=$APIKey - Download my Zip... 4 students inside...

 

Tried the staff url https://$iSAMS/api/batch/1.0/staffphotos.ashx?apiKey=$APIKey .. only 1 photo...

 

Checked API permissions, no filtering enabled on any of the options, years, divisions, clubs etc.. all set to all.

Created a new API just in case, same issue...

 

Any ideas? I want to export the photos so I can batch process them in a ps script to import elsewhere as they have no integrations

Interesting, I didn't even know this existed as I can't see it documented on their API page.

 

Anyways, I gave it a test and it seems to work fine for me. Seems odd you get some photos because if it was a permissions issue, then you shouldn't get anything.

Interesting tho that it works for you.. So... It's not a them issue ! ... I'm starting to wonder if our DataManagers have managed to clip my results somehow unknowingly !

Ah, I was looking under Student Manager as that's the method this seems to come under. Good to know it is there. We only moved to iSAMs this year so still finding things out!
