We're in the process of doing a software audit and are having to finally move away from the free Desktop version of Sketchup. We were looking at replacing it with Sketchup for Schools, but our head of Technology says it doesn't do what is needed for GCSE.

What do other people use, does anybody use Sketchup for Schools? We can't really justify going to Sketchup pro at the moment.

Thanks

Did he say what it doesn't do that they need?

We run both

One CAD room with Pro, rest with for school

And they’re currently considering whether they need pro anymore

So I wouldn’t say there’s anything you can’t do in ForSchools unless it’s more that they want to do it in an odd way
