Microsoft Teams Camera Issue

Hi all,

 

Have a staff user whenever they join a meeting to an external user the camera on their laptop turns off and unable to turn it back on within Teams. Have checked all settings with Teams and the laptop and all seems ok. Oddly, it also appears as though the camera from the host is controlling the camera on the attendees laptop.

 

Any ideas would be helpful.

We've had this a couple of times on one of our staff's personal laptops, but never had it occur on one of the school devices, so have always put it down to another application that might be running in the background.

Yeah in teams the meeting organiser and presenters can disable both the mic and cameras of either individuals/ all attendees. so could be just that...
