Koldov Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) A teacher has contacted me regarding using a QR code to access an online resource called Padlet. Previously they have used a QR code to access a webpage where they can view and work on resources . Last week some iPads stopped connecting to the Padlet website and this week most of them won't. The ones that do display the documents the Safari address bar shows the resource name, those that don't connect just show a blank page and the URL in the address bar. The only thing we can determine is that the ones that do connect are on iOS 16.3.1 and the ones that don't have updated to 16.4.1 Anyone know of something that has changed in the update that might produce this behaviour? Also is anyone else that uses Padlet at their school and a QR with iPads on 16.4.1 able to test? Edited April 28, 2023 by Koldov
Face-Man Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Have you tried using the padlet app from the app store ? its free 1
Koldov Posted April 28, 2023 Author Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) Thanks, yes, I will... had an problem with downloading the app due to a token issue... EDIT: I've fixed the issue with the VPP token now (but haven't worked out the reason it happened). So I should be able to get the app pushed out now! Also need to test if this is an actual issue with QR codes though, anyone else having any problems? Edited April 28, 2023 by Koldov
