Minecraft EDU

Hello,

 

Just wondering if anyone has setup a Minecraft EDU server and if so what resources did you assign to it? Is there a rule of general resource for 30 users - the Microsoft documentation is lacking somewhat....

Minecraft EDU as in the old 1.7 version? Or Minecraft Education Edition?

The Minecraft Education Edition that’s included as part of our Microsoft license.

Yup, it's all run from a client. I suppose you *could* run it on a server if you needed to, but it shouldn't be necessary.

 

The theory being, with Minecraft Education, your class teacher would spin up a server, children connect, and then it's shut down at the end of the lesson.
