MatthewL Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Got a friends PC who is using Windows 10, linked to their MS account rather than local. For some reason their desktop has sync'd to OneDrive although its not installed, I cannot see any reason how it has but a large folder filled up the storage. Folder now removed locally and on OneDrive to resolve but cannot get to the bottom of why it sync'd in the first place, any suggestions.
Steve21 Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 When you say it's not installed, do you mean it's been uninstalled? As it's built into Windows nowadays (for the home OneDrive rather than Business AllUsers etc) Steve
MatthewL Posted April 11, 2023 Author Posted April 11, 2023 There is no trace of OneDrive installed on the machine and its a outlook personal account. Wasn't sure if its a thing to do with it been a linked account, I've never used it linked so never seen it before.
