[ms office - o365] 365 Guest Access

We are looking at rolling out guest access for parents, ideally automating as much of the procedure through Salamander as we can, are there any other schools that have rolled out guest access with parents? If you have, how have you found the process? Any issues from a technical & administrative point of view? Appreciate any information we can get.

It seems fairly straight forward, although we have not done that here. Is this mainly for Sharepoint and Teams or other resources too?

This would mainly be for a Parental Intranet hosted on SharePoint, nothing too complex really but we just want to make sure we're 100% on access rights and all that. It's an option we're exploring so if it was a nightmare then we'd look at alternatives.
